SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT AGREEMENT (For Speaker Use)
This a Speaking Engagement Agreement for the speaker to provide to the event host. This agreement is imperative to protect your interests as a speaker. This contract details compensation and permission to photograph and record the engagement. By detailing your expected compensation and permissions of possible distribution of photography and recordings, you are protecting the ownership of your intellectual property. The Contract may also be utilized to specify the location of the engagement and outline necessary equipment, seating layouts, stages, and podiums. By creating a binding agreement to contract your speaking services you can ensure the enforcement of your rights and expectations. This Contract also protects your rights to cancel the engagement in the instance that you are unable to perform due to unforeseen circumstances outside of your control.
